Sanaullah accuses media of biased reporting in four high profile cases

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Tuesday that media did “biased reporting” on four high profile cases in Punjab.

Addressing a press conference, Rana Sanaullah said that the media’s “biased reporting” on four high profile cases hurt the image of Punjab internationally. The high profile cases were those of chopping of a man’s hands, rape case of a 15-year old girl, sewing of a man’s lips and the robbery and murder case of a pregnant woman.

Rana said that media showed only one side of the picture while reporting on these cases while the investigation of the police proved the facts to be otherwise. He said that in these cases, the boy’s hands got cut accidently, in gang rape case the girl was only attacked but not raped, in pregnant woman’s murder case, the woman was killed by her own husband while sewing of lips was done by the victim himself to blackmail his opponents.
