The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has dismissed the petition filed for the NAB inquiry against former Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) Buland Akhter Rana.
A two member bench of IHC comprises Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Auragzeb heard the petition on Wednesday.
Sardar Noor Aslam, counsel of petitioner and Sardar Muzaffar Khan NAB prosecutor appeared before the court on behalf of their parties respectively.
The court hearing the arguments of the counsels of the parties dismissed the petition filed by the NAB.
It is worth-mentioning here that President Mamoon Hussain has terminated Buland Akhter Rana on his alleged involvement in corruption and misuse of power and ordered to conduct an inquiry against him in the high-level meeting of NAB.
