Per details, each and every taluka, cantonment and sub-division of the province has been declared as a census district. In all there are 145 census districts which have been further bifurcated in circles, blocks and charges.

Officers of BPS-17 with statistical assistant(s) have been posted as divisional census officers who will remain attached with the district administration till the completion of the census.

The chief secretary assured the Sindh census commissioner that the provincial government would extend all-out cooperation for successful completion of the census.
