PML-N to rid AJK masses of usurpers, corrupt rulers: Pervaiz Rashid

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would rid the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir of usurpers and corrupt and incompetent rulers.

He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who was sincerely striving for reconciliation between two brotherly Muslim countries would also work to end sufferings of the Kashmiri people.

Addressing the PML-N’s Workers Convention, Pervaiz Rashid said that Nawaz Sharif had forgotten his personal sufferings and was working to share the grief of Muslims everywhere. He said that Allah Almighty had blessed the prime minister to be able to work for the Muslim Ummah. Today he had gone to the Saudi capital Riyadh while tomorrow he would visit Iran for reconciliation between two brotherly countries, he added.

Iran is Pakistan’s neighbour and Saudi Arabia is sacred for the entire Muslim world, the minister said. He said that now the entire world was acknowledging the leadership qualities of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as he was playing a role in the resolution of disputes among Muslim countries.

The minister reminded the audience that when in the Council of Common Interests (CCI) the issue of giving more water to Azad Kashmir was taken up after upraising of Mangla Dam, the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif fully supported the proposal but it was strangely opposed by Chaudhry Majeeds’s fellow party leader Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.

He said that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir had rejected the corrupt and incompetent government of Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and its defeat in the next elections was the writing on the wall.

The minister said that everywhere he went in AJK, people were chanting slogans welcoming PML-N. He said that a party which had such a huge attendance in the workers conventions could not be defeated and its thumping victory in next elections was only a matter of time.

He said that when the PML-N holds a public rally there, the entire city’s roads and streets would be blocked.
