The NAB has blocked accounts of 12 illegal housing societies of Islamabad.
The NAB has also imposed a ban on allotment and transfer of plots in these societies and has started investigations against 109 housing societies in Islamabad and 23 in Rawalpindi. In the first phase, the NAB has prepared a list of 46 housing societies to start investigation against them, said an official.
The NAB has also filed a list, of officers of CDA planning wing, who were allegedly involved in illegalities in these housing societies, according to the official.
