Isolation wards established in PIMS, Polyclinic for swine flu patients

Owing to increasing condition of Swine Flu in the country, separate isolation wards have been established in the two major hospitals of the capital, Polyclinic and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

According to details, in PIMS, a separate isolation ward with a capacity of twenty patients has been established where qualified doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff was deputed by the hospital’s administration, while in Polyclinic the ward consists of ten beds.

The spokespersons of PIMS and Polyclinic said that neither patient of Swine flu has admitted in both hospitals nor Swine flu case was reported in the federal capital.

Both the hospitals have completed all the precautionary arrangements regarding Swine flu including all necessary medicine and other measures.
