The Islamabad High Court on Saturday approved a petition filed against Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s acquittal from different cases.
The petition was filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), challenging the acquittal of Zardari in the SGS-Cotecna, ARY Gold and Ursus Tractors cases.
The high court approved the petition for hearing. A two-judge bench of Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi and Justice Amir Farooq will hear the petition challenging the verdicts of the accountability court in the cases against Zardari on January 18.
