Climate change and carbon footprint are much in the news and the subject of many discussion programme. Naturally there is a lot of talk of wind corridors and solar parks but hardly any mention of hydel power, as if Pakistan is no longer an agricultural country.
We as a nation are so obsessed with load shedding that we are least worried about food shedding which is waiting around the corner if we go on running on empty i.e., refuse to build a reservoir.
Why? Because a reservoir in Punjab will rob Sindh of water and give all the water to Punjab? Have we chosen to remain hostage to this bit of idiotic falsehood.
