Two women killed for ‘honour’

As many as two women were killed for ‘honour’ in Kandhkot on Saturday morning.

The women identified as Maryam and Farzana were allegedly killed by their father-in-law and their husbands who thought that they had extra martial affairs with some persons. The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Risaldar police station, and at village Khan Mohammad Gulato in Kandhkot.

The concerned station house officer said that the father-in-law of the women identified as Shah Murad and his two sons, Tariq and Manzor, had been found involved in the murder of two women. He said the women were killed for honour and the accused managed to flee. A case has been registered against the accused. However, the bodies have been handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities from the district hospital.
