Dense fog Saturday griped several cities of Punjab causing traffic problems on the motorway and highways besides disrupting train service.
Several cities including Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur Sahiwal, Lodhran and Bahawalnagar have been in the grip of dense fog for the last three weeks. Traffic accidents and delays have become a common occurrence due to mist and low visibility.
On Saturday, three vehicles collided on National Highway in Rahim Yar Khan due to dense fog while the national highway in Sadiqabad was blocked to all kind of traffic.
The motorway police have directed drivers and motorists to be extra cautious while driving during fog.
