The chief justice of Pakistan on Friday formed a three-member bench to hear a plea filed by former chief justice Abdul Hameed Dogar over inclusion of his name for investigation in the treason case filed against former president Pervez Musharraf.
The bench of Justice Saqib Nisar, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman and Justice Tariq Pervez would hear the case on Tuesday.
Former CJP Dogar had filed a petition against the special court’s decision to take action against former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former CJP Abdul Hameed Dogar and former law minister Zahid Hamid besides Musharrf. Dogar had filed the petition through his counsel Iftikhar Gillani.
