The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested 30 suspects during search operations from different parts of the city within few days.

According to CTD sources, the CTD officials conducted raids in various areas of the city including Naqshah stop, Awan Town and Joher Town and arrested 30 suspected persons and shifted them to undisclosed location for interrogation.

The arrested persons belonged to banned organisations. Further investigation is in progress.
