As many as 20 former leaders and activists of the Sindh National Front (SNF) held a meeting on Friday and discussed whether to part ways with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for its lukewarm attitude towards SNF after its merger with PML-N and constant breaking of agreement signed between the two parties despite repeated complaints made to the ruling party leaders.

The meeting was presided over by SNF’s former vice chairman Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto, who was also ex-advisor to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. It was also attended by party office-bearers including Allah Warayo Soomro, Syed Hassan Mahmood Shah Amroti, Dr Roshan Pechuho, Abdul Samad Bajarani Advocate, Irshad Khan Junejo, Ayaz Bhagat, Shahzado Bhutto, and Maula Bux Khoso.

All the party members were of unanimous view that the PML-N and its leadership had been constantly neglecting the SNF leadership willfully while the issues facing Sindh province had also been left unresolved during the last three years of PML-N rule. The leaders resolved to revive and restore former SNF for the cause of Sindh. After hearing the views of participants, Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto told them that he would discuss it with SNF Chairman Mumtaz Ali Bhutto and the matter will be finally decided in the central committee meeting which is expected to be held next week.
