The police on Friday recovered heavy quantity of narcotics here in Phularwan police limits.
Addressing a press conference at DPO office, DSP Saeedullah Khan said that during general checking, SHO Zafar Abbas of Phularwan police station along with two policemen stopped a vehicle at Salam Interchange. The car coming from Islamabad was driven by Arshad Khan, later identified as resident of Charsadda. The police recovered 60 packets of hash weighing almost 70 kilogram worth Rs. 5 million hidden in the vehicle.
The DSP briefed the media that accused Arshad Khan and an unknown person managed to escape from the scene. He said that police teams were constituted to arrest them.
