Former petroleum minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain, who is currently under the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) custody, is likely to reach a deal with the anti-graft body, sources said on Friday.
They said Dr Hussain was likely to reach a deal with the NAB during the course of investigation of the corruption charges brought against him.
Dr Hussain had now started getting relaxations under NAB custody, said the sources, adding that his family had been visiting him daily while a ‘prominent figure’ had also met him a few days ago.
A couple of days ago, he was also taken to a private dental clinic in Karachi where he stayed for several hours. The authorities were taking care of Dr Hussain’s health in every possible way, added the sources.
