Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah is on an official visit to Azerbaijan. During the visit, the naval chief, called on President of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev yesterday and matters of mutual cooperation were discussed.
During his course of interaction, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah met Azerbijan’s Defense Minister Col Gen Zakir Hasanov, Chief of State Border Service Col Gen Elchin Guliyev and Chief of Navy Captain 1st Rank Shahin Mammadov. During these meetings issues of bilateral interest, defence and naval cooperation came under discussion.
Pakistan and Azerbaijan enjoy close and strong relations based on mutual respect and understanding and it is expected that recent visit of the naval chief will enhance and expand collaboration between the two countries.
