A woman cashier of a tuck-shop at a petrol pump was injured by armed assailants within the Pirwadhai police jurisdiction.
Sheikh Arif, an owner of a petrol pump at Khayban-e- Sir Syed, lodged a complaint with the local police two unidentified armed showed up on a motorcycle and started indiscriminate firing, which left the woman cashier, Asma, injured. The assailants fled the scene.
The injured was rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
