Sharif welcomes Turk investment in transport sector

A delegation of Turk investors met Wednesday Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

During the meeting, the Turk delegation decided to invest in transport sector in Punjab. Turk investors will make investment in running radio cab vehicles in Punjab. Talking to Turk investors, Sharif said Pakistan and Turkey are tied together with everlasting friendship. He said historic brotherly relations between both the countries have changed into useful economic cooperation. He said friendship of Pakistan and Turkey is strengthening with the passage of time and economic cooperation between both the countries is enhancing.

The chief minister said that the hearts of people of both the countries beat together. He said that various Turk companies are investing in transport, infrastructure and other sectors in Punjab. He said that cleanliness condition in cities has improved due to cooperation of Turk companies in solid waste management. He welcomed the investment by Turk investors in transport sector in Punjab.

Sharif assured that all possible facilities will be provided to Turk investors for running radio cab vehicles. He said a number of projects are running successfully with the cooperation of Turkey in various cities including Lahore. He said that metro bus project is a glorious example of Pak-Turk friendship. He said that due to collaboration of Turk companies and the Punjab government, friendship of Pakistan and Turkey is strengthening and economic cooperation between both the countries will further increase in coming days.

Speaking on the occasion, the Turk investors said that they acknowledge the extraordinary abilities and untiring efforts of Sharif. They said that people of Punjab love Sharif and like his work. They said that CM Sharif has played important role in enhancing relations between Turkey and Pakistan. The Turk investors said that they will make investment in running radio cab vehicles in Punjab. Turk delegation included Mustafa Albayrak and other members. Khawja Ahmed Hasaan, Commissioner Lahore Division and officials concerned were present on the occasion.
