Sarwar rebuffs rumours of quitting PTI

PPP Punjab leader Chaudhry Sarwar has rebuffed the rumours regarding quitting the party.

In a clarification statement issued here on Wednesday, Sarwar said that rumours circulating in a section of media that he has left PTI over differences with the party leadership were baseless. He clarified, “I am still in PTI and will not leave party as it is the only pure democratic party where the decisions are taken after the conciliation.”

Sarwar said that PTI is only hope for people of Pakistan and now it has been among the major political parties of the country. “It is honour for me to work under the leadership of PTI Chairman Imran Khan,” he added.

While talking about upcoming general elections of 2018, he claimed that PTI will win majority of seats in National Assembly and Imran Khan will take oath as prime minister.
