A man was injured when an armed assailant opened firing at Jinnah Hospital on Wednesday.
Haris, resident of Johar Town entered into the emergency ward of Jinnah hospital and opened firing. As a result, a patient namely Azhar sustained severe bullet injuries.
The security guards of the hospital arrested the accused, who was later handed over to the police along with the weapon.
The accused Haris said that Azhar had stabbed to death his grandfather.
