Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said on Monday that peace in South Asia is imperative for peace in the entire world.
Addressing a PML-N youth convention in Bhimber, he said that peace in the region is linked to the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
He said that resolving the Kashmir dispute is the top priority of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to remove sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
The minister said that PML-N accepted the mandate of PPP in Azad Kashmir and adopted the policy of non-interference, but it was high time to hold the party accountable through ballot. He expressed hope that the people of Azad Kashmir would vote for PML-N and reject corruption and bad governance.
Addressing the PML-N workers, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Barjees Tahir announced to establish an agriculture university in Bhimber, set up a passport office and open a cardiology unit in DHQ Bhimber. He said that Kashmir Expressway would be extended from Mangla to Barnala and a ring road would also be constructed in the city.
