In a surprising move when children in Thar are falling prey to hunger and diseases, the Sindh Assembly has announced construction of a beauty salon for the lawmakers.
Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani said that a beauty parlor for women and a salon would be built for men.
A small shopping complex and a new multi-level car parking area would also be constructed on Sindh Assembly premises. A sum of Rs66 crore would be spent on construction of parking area, he added. This announcement highlights the provincial government’s priorities when dozens of children are dying to hunger in Tharparkar.
