A water pipeline burst on Monday and inundated Karachi’s Administration Society.
According to details, a pipeline blew up while repairing at 4 am when water supply to other areas had been halted to ensure supply to Administration Society. Nevertheless the main street of the area was submerged with water, causing trouble to motorists and pedestrians alike.
Residents of the area complained that the broken pipeline was not fixed despite repeated complaints to the authorities concerned.
Earlier, a water pipeline had burst in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area and another near Federal Urdu University area. Frustrated citizens were stuck in traffic for several hours due to the water accumulated on the roads.
