Rs30m arms stolen from Punjab Police godown

Arms worth around Rs 30 million have been stolen from the godown of Punjab Police. An audit report of Punjab Home Department 2014 revealed that arms and ammunition worth of Rs 28 million have been stolen from the warehouse of Punjab Police.Police personnel of the province are provided arms, ammunition but it was stolen from the warehouse. Police vehicles have also been stolen. Arms have been stolen from offices of CTO Lahore, DPO DG Khan, DPO Gujranwala, DPO Chakwal and CPO Lahore.
