A wanted terrorist was killed in exchange of firing with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel here on Monday.
DPO Awais Ahmed said that responding to a tip-off regarding presence of a wanted terrorist, the CTD team launched search operation in Daira Din Panah area of Muzaffargarh during which exchange of fire took place.
In cross firing, wanted terrorist identified as Umer alias Wasa was killed and arms were recovered from his possession.
DPO Awais Ahmed said that killed terrorist was also involved in murder of security guard of a bank in Sanawan during bank robbery.
