We already know that Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is starring alongside Vin Diesel in her Hollywood debut, but there’s more.
The actress will also be sharing screen space with, Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev and Orange Is the New Black actress Ruby Rose, reported India Today.
XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, is the third installment in the action series. Vin Diesel will be essaying the lead role after being replaced by Ice Cube in the second part. Pulp Fiction actor Samuel L Jackson will resume his role as the NSA agent Augustus Gibbons.
Vin Diesel and Joe Roth will begin to work on their production by end of this month and the shoot is slated to take place in Canada and the Philippines.
The script is written by F Scott Frazier and DJ Caruso will serve as the director.
A recent report by The Hollywood Reporter claim that Nina will be seen as a witty and sarcastic techie, whereas Ruby will essay the role of a sniper.
The report also revealed that Deepika will be seen as a huntress and Xander Cage’s love interest.
The original XXX (2002) was seen as an anti-Bond film. It revolved around Xander Cage who is forced to become a government agent.
