10 outlaws held, narcotic and weapons seized in capital

Islamabad Police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city for alleged involvement in crime cases of various nature, and recovered 2.150kilogram hashish, 20 liter wine and weapons a police spokesman said.

According to details, CIA police arrested two accused Muhammad Waqas Reheem and Muhammad Sulman and recovered 2.150 kilogram hashish from their possession.

Industrial Area police arrested 20 liter wine from the possession of accused Pervez.

Koral police arrested two accused Naveed Ahmed and  Ishtiaq Ahmed and recovered two SMG guns along with ammunition from their possession. Margalla police arrested two accused Imran Ali Shah and Ayaz Mehmood and involved in car theft.  Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile 03 professional alm-seekers were also arrested and action has been initiated against them. SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and further directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.
