The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has declared six residential schemes illegal in different parts of the district.
A spokesman for the FDA said here on Sunday that Haq Baho Colony Hamza Block Chak No.229 Makkoana Bypass, Raees Garden Chak No.226 Malkhanwala Road, Gulshan-e-Arfat Chak no.34-RB Ahmad Nagar Road, Al-Kareem Block Villas Chak No.121-JB Millat Road, Azafi Abadi Kamil Pur Chak No.6-JB and Ismaeel Homes Chak No.121-JB Millat Road were declared illegal.
He told that formal letters have also been forwarded to the Managing Director (MD) Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Manager Planning and Designing Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) and General Manager Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) not to provide facilities in these illegal housing colonies until and unless its developers get approval from the FDA.
