Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has assured that energy projects worth over 25 billion dollars will be completed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The minister stated this while addressing an all-parties conference held in Islamabad on Sunday under the auspices of Balochistan National Party-Mengal. He said energy projects worth seven point one billion dollars would be completed in Balochistan under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor. Besides, energy projects worth 6.9 billion dollars will be completed in Punjab and 11.5 billion dollars in Sindh.
Senator Jahanzeb Jamaldini briefed the conference about the importance of Gwadar and natural resources of Balochistan.
Federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Khwaja Saad Rafiq, Leader of the House in the Senate Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Sardar Akhtar Mangal, Moulana Fazalur Rehman, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Afrasiyab Khattak, Farhatullah Babar, Liaqat Baloch, and former chief minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Maalik also attended the conference.
