Deputy Controller News of Radio Pakistan (Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation – PBC) was found dead on a roadside in Ghouri Phase-V on Saturday.
According to police, his body was spotted by local’s, which was later shifted to Polyclinic Hospital.
Ilyas was due to retire from service after two months on attaining superannuation. He was residing in Sector I-10 Sector and his death in Ghouri Phase-V was surprising.
His colleagues told this agency that a cheque of Rs 100,000 and some other papers were found in his pocket and ruled out the possibility of any robbery attempt.
