Lahore – Our Netflix and Chill Correspondent: Siddiq Haider, a 34-year-old accountant in Lahore, was seen around the city, apparently excited by the official arrival of Netflix in the country.
“This changes everything,” says the man who has the latest episodes of any and all TV shows that he wants to see as soon as they are out in the west. “Now I can see the latest episodes of any and all TV shows that I want to see as soon as they are out in the west.”
“And that includes movies as well,” he told reporters, while the computer behind him had the 2015 movie Sicario in a minimised window.
“Oh man, I don’t think I’m going to be all that productive anymore now that I will have Netflix,” says Haider, who has been passed over for promotion thrice at his firm and hasn’t been able to complete his last remaining eight papers of ACCA in about five years.
“I think I’m going to call my girlfriend and ask her to ‘Netflix and chill’,” says the single man.
