Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Saturday said that the centre and provinces are working amicably and the grievances of Sindh chief minister would be addressed.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah had met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad and the latter directed Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar, who was present in the meeting, to address the grievances of the CM, he said while talking to media persons here at the National College of Arts (NCA).
Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz was also present on the occasion. Rashid said in the past whichever political party was in power at the centre, it used to meddle in the affairs of provincial governments and even imposed governor’s rule in the provinces, but the present Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government had abandoned that tradition.
Regarding KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak’s reservations on the China-Pakistan
Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal had held a meeting with him and discussed all the matters in details.
