Three suspected terrorists including two key commanders of a banned outfit were arrested in Swabi and Kohat on Friday.
According to police sources, on a tip off police conducted an operation in Saleem Khan Village of Swabi and during the search two suspected terrorists opened fire at the police party and tried to escape on a motorcycle.
Police however arrested both of them after pursuit and recovered bomb weighing 5kg, four mines, and 10 feet safety fuses, two detonators, two pistols and one motorcycle.
Police said that one of the nabbed suspects Gul Sher is a local commander of TTP and was wanted in several heinous cases in Nowshehra and Swabi.
Meanwhile, Special Unit police arrested a key commander of banned organization in Kohat. The arrested terrorist was identified as Shakir Ullah.
Police said that provincial government had announced prize money of two million on Shakir Ullah’s detention.Detained terrorist was involved in more than six serious cases and all those cases have been referred to Anti-terrorism court.
