Female commuters, travelling in Metro Bus service, consider the service a special gift, for being smooth and affordable.
They lauded the initiative of government for introducing a state-of-art transport system in the twin cities.
Amna Khan, an employee at a private company said particularly female commuters faced problems before the metro bus. She said after the inauguration of the service in twin cities it has become very helpful and she avails the facility daily.
Lauding the government, she said that many have stopped using personal transport for offices as they can easily avail the facility.
Another commuter, Robina Aziz, a teacher said that the service is a substantive addition for women. She said earlier they faced tough conditions due to poor transport system.
Mareena Kiani, a student said she also uses the metro bus to go to college whereas before the service she had to hire private pick and drop.
Metro Bus also offers a facility for senior citizens and women alike to reach their destination peacefully.
Women have urged the Metro administration to ensure that men would not enter the women section besides occupying seats reserved for them.
