The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hold by-elections in NA-218 (Matiari-cum-Haiderabad) on January 18.
ECP has also announced a second Pilot Project of GIS Polling Stations on Google Maps for by-election in NA-218, said a release issued on Friday.
The project has been devised to help the general public find their respective polling station on Google Satellite Map. It can help voters navigate and find their polling station’s location along with the building photograph.
It may be mentioned here that the seat was vacated due to the death of Makhdoom Amin Faheem, Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians president.
