A 10-year-old child committed suicide after his parents refused to give him pocket money in Jalalpur Peer Wala area on Friday.
The boy namely Junaid asked for Rs50 from his parents. However on refusal and getting rebuked from his parents, the child locked himself in his room. He later hung himself with the fan and committed suicide.
Local residents informed the police about the tragedy. Police reached the scene and initiated probe into the incident.
