As many as 200 commandos of Special Security Unite (SSU) of Sindh police including women will provide security to polio teams on upcoming four-day polio drive from 11th January to 14th January in the metropolis.
Under the instructions of IGP Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali, the SSU have a well-managed plan to ensure security of polio drive workers. According to the plan, 200 SSU commandos with modern weapons and other equipment will ensure security of polio drive. A special weapon and tactics (SWAT) team of SSU will be ready to give immediate response to any untoward incident.
