The Pakistan Railways has decided to run a new rail car from Rawalpindi to Lahore daily at 2300 hrs at night from January 10 keeping in view the rising trend among the citizens for traveling by rail car.
This rail car will leave Rawalpindi station at 2300 hrs and it will stop only at Chaklala, Gujarat and Gujranwala stations. The non stop rail car, which earlier used to leave Rawalpindi station at 2430 hrs, will now start its journey at 100 hrs. Deputy Superintendent (DS) Railways Rawalpindi Division and the DCO Railways said that the Pakistan Railways was making progress at fast pace and the day was not far off when people will prefer traveling by rail to air traveling.
