The police Thursday presented pilot of private airlines before the court after ending the period of his judicial remand.
The investigation officer informed the court that challan of case had already produced in the court and prayed the court to initiate the proceeding regarding conviction of the accused.
During the course of hearing, Hassan Iqbal Warriach, the counsel for accused Capt Asmat Mehmood, adopted the stance before the court that plea bail of accused is under hearing in the Lahore High Court so the accused cannot be convicted. On this, the court extended his physical remand by January 14.
A FIR was registered against accused Capt Asmat Mehmood under sections of Anti Terrorism with Sarwar Road Police Station.
