The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) will hold a province-wide protest today (Thursday) against injustices meted out to the sugarcane farmers in Sindh.
According to details, the JI along with sugarcane farmers will protest against the inappropriate support price and injustice meted out to the sugarcane growers in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpur Khas, and other districts headquarters before the press club. They demonstration will be addressed by the provisional and districts leaders of the JI.
Meanwhile, JI Sindh Ameer Dr Meraj-ul-Huda will addresses a protest demonstration at 3 pm at Hyderabad Press Club, while JI Sindh General Secretary Mumtaz Hussain Sahito will also address a rally at Bhittai Chowk at 4 pm.
