Police on late Tuesday night arrested two members of the militant group Daesh from Awan Town locality of the city.
Accused Talha and information technology expert Amjad Rizwan were held in a raid conducted on their house on a lead provided by Daesh militants, Dr Usman Malik and Ahsan, Siddiq, who were already in custody.
Banned literature, laptops and numerous DVDs were also recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, 17 suspects were arrested by the police during a search operation in Nadrabad, Bhatta Chowk, Bedian Road and surrounding areas for incomplete identification documents and for violation of Rental Act.
