Social Security Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Mubashar Wednesday lodged an application with City Police Station for registering a case against MNA Jamshed Dasti and others for allegedly attacking the hospital.
Dr Mubashir, in his application, alleged that Dasti and his 25 accomplices on Tuesday forcefully shut down the hospital, besides throwing him out of office.
Former MPA Mehr Irshad Siyal was also nominated among the accused.
It may be noted that the hospital staff on Tuesday protested against shortage of medics. MNA Dasti along with some people visited the hospital to show solidarity with the protestors.
Meanwhile, a police contingent has been deployed on the hospital premises to counter any untoward incident.
