Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiqal Farooq has said that the present government is protector of the rights of minorities.
Talking to a delegation of minorities in the board office here on Wednesday, he said that protection of worship places of minorities is our legal responsibility.
He said the manifesto of Pakistan Muslim League-N is to serve the people.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued order of the protection of Jain Mandir at any cost and change the route of Orange train, he added.
He said that all possible facilities will be provided to tenants of the trust board in Jain Mandir. Hindu leaders thanked the government and ETPB chairman for changing the route of metro train.
