After Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt spilled the beans of the upcoming project, SRK too confirmed the news that he will be starring alongside the young starlet in KJo’s upcoming production.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, SRK revealed that he will be sharing screen space with Alia in Gauri Shinde’s directorial while expressing his interest in working with the opposite sex.

“I Iike working with women, so I am doing Gauri’s film with Alia Bhatt as my co-star,” confirmed the Dilwale actor. Shah Rukh shared details about the film saying, “It is not a typical love story nor is there a hero role but I find Gauri’s filmmaking interesting. I may have a lesser part — not in terms of timing on screen but as a lover — but it’s an interesting role.”

The superstar who will also be seen alongside Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in Raees is currently shooting for the second leg of the film which will be completed in 20 days. “Raees is a very intense film for me,” said the actor, sharing his experience of the upcoming film.

“I’ve used my gravelly voice in the film (laughs and mouths the famous dialogue from the film in the voice) Baniye Ka Dimaag Miyanbhai Ki Daring.

“I have never done a role like that and director Rahul Dholakia is very different,” he added. Apart from Raees, SRK is also gearing up for his upcoming film Fan, slated to release in April.

“Fan is finished, we are done with most of the post production and it should be ready in two months for us to watch the first cut. It is a different film, a niche, but has a very popular story line, in fact a thriller story-line. Slowly people will understand what the film is all about,” he said.
