A local court Tuesday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant of Mustafa Kanju in connection with a case of possessing illegal weapons.
Police told the court that the accused has fled after being granted acquittal in Zain murder case and did not appear before the investigation team in the case of possessing illegal weapons. The police requested the court to issue arrest warrant of the accused.
In the previous hearing, the court had issued a warrant of the accused but he did not appear before the court after which it issued a non-bailable arrest warrant.
The court directed police to arrest Kanju and produce him before the court in the next hearing.
