The district administration continued anti-encroachments operation across the provincial capital and cleared various areas in all the nine towns, on Tuesday.
DCO Muhammad Usman issued instructions to the administration of towns to continue operation clean up and remove illegally constructed shops, pedestals and other structures.
Special teams of the city administration demolished encroachments from
Thokar Niaz Baig Chowk, Mohlanwal Road and adjacent areas besides lodging FIRs against some encroachers.
Anti-encroachment squads also seized truckloads of different material from the illegal occupants.
The towns have also been directed by the DCO to monitor areas continuously where encroachments had been removed so that the encroachers could not reconstruct illegal structures.
