At least seven newborn babies have died during the last two days in Liaqat Memorial Hospital Kohat due to lack of facilities.
Parents and relatives of the newborn victims have lodged a strong protest against the hospital administration demanding the provincial government to take action against the responsible officials for deaths.
“There are only two incubators in the ward besides shortage of beds”, Afzal Khan, a protesting father said adding that more deaths could occur if necessary facilities were not made available.
