Govt striving to promote girls education

The federal government is taking large steps to promote girls education by allocating huge amounts for the purpose.

“Federal and Provincial Governments are seriously working on the agenda, set for quality education, health, development of roads, energy, employment, and GDP growth,” official sources said

There is a wide difference between the enrolment of girls and boys, and fifty per cent of this gap would be reduced within the period of five years.

Every child would have opportunity and access to education by the year 2025.

“The Planning Commission has evolved a strategy to progress in all fields in the next few years, “they added.

The government has set the target to ensure quality education and enhance literacy rate.

Efforts afoot for women emancipation: National Commission on Status for Women (NCSW) is taking steps to provide due status to the women living in less-developed parts of the country.

NCSW is working on the issues and problems of women and all necessary measures are being taken in this regard.

Talking to APP, an official of NCSW said that the basic aim of the commission was to bring women in all fields to achieve progress in social, economic, and political sectors.

The government is making efforts to provide opportunity to women of Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and other areas so that they could play their due role for the development of the country, he said.

To a question he said that there was also a commission named ‘National Commission for Human Rights’ which was focusing and working on the improvement of laws so that the women could avail justice without facing any kind of difficulty.
