Federal ombudsman has taken Suo Moto notice on performances of AGPR and CDA and summoned the relevant heads on 5 January, Tuesday to submit compliance status.
According to a notice issued by Advisor Commissioner Hafiz Ehsan Khokar, to secretaries of various ministries including railways, health, communication, controller general of accounts, AGPR, chairman CDA, director general post and director general passports to explain reasons in delay in passport issuance, working of postal department, children death due to measles, performance of AGPR and pension, railways pension issues and working of CDA, Pakistan communication system.
It is relevant to mention here that Federal Ombudsman has already completed work on over 200,000 complaints in the last two and half years within stipulated 60 days.
It is learned that after taking cognizance by Federal-internal work of these organization have registered significant improvements and helping for redressal of public issues and resolution of systemic complaints.
The federal ombudsman has also finalized a plan to start hearing public complaints at district level of Pakistan during current month.
Ombudsman is providing expeditious and free justice to People of Pakistan and is now deciding public complaints within 60 days.
