A woman on Sunday became a victim of ‘honour killing’ when she was killed by her brothers for contracting a love marriage.
According to police, the woman hailing from Bhal area of Nowshero Feroz had tied the knot with a local man against the wishes of her family some six months ago. She was traced by her brothers, who fled after shooting her to death. Her body was shifted to a hospital for postmortem. The police registered a case against the murderers and started raids for their arrest.
